What to expect

At LifeBridge we have a friendly, non-denominational style inviting to everyone. The church gathers weekly each Sunday at 10:00 am. A typical gathering includes brief, inspirational worship in song, a stimulating, thought-provoking message, dialogue around the message theme, fellowship and refreshments. We currently offer nursery and Sunday School for children, and Your Turn, an interactive discussion forum for adults and teens where we connect the teaching of Jesus with our lives. Most Sunday afternoons we offer Family Fun and Exercise, this may be family soccer in Dover Park, dodge ball in a nearby gym, sledding or tubing in the snow, a bike ride or hike, just to mention a few activities. Sunday mornings we also announce ways to serve, make a difference, and get involved in the local community, region, and world. Don't hesitate to call or e-mail Chet or Holly Miller-Eshleman with your questions.

"Jim and I came to visit LifeBridge two years ago, without really planning to stay. We were tired, a little bit sad, and rather disappointed in church altogether. Consequently, we didn't expect much from any church so we were frankly quite surprised by how much there was to like about LifeBridge. We love the teaching, that continually calls us to a deeper walk with Christ and more authentic love for our neighbor. We appreciate that creeds are not put above mercy and kindness and love, that there is a spirit of peace here and we are taught how to embrace and reconcile our differences. There is a sincere respect for all people. We enjoy how free we are to be ourselves and to worship God with our own unique gifts and talents, however humble or flawed. We have grown to love the people of LifeBridge, their simplicity, sincerity, and kindness are a constant challenge to us to better live the way of Christ. The atmosphere of LifeBridge is upbeat, creative, joyful. We have a renewed hope for God's church. There isn't another church in the world that we would rather attend."

Where to find us

LifeBridge Community Church meets in Dover's historic, red brick building on Dover Square across from the police department and fire hall on the corner of Wooster Avenue and Third Street. We also meet through the week in members' homes for small groups and other activities and events. The weekly program distributed Sunday mornings outlines upcoming events and opportunities. While we try to keep our web page reasonably up-to-date, you will find the weekly programs given out each Sunday more current with specific "last minute" details.
